A versatile, highly experienced and complementary team
The Elyan team has extensive experience in private equity and has strong complementary skills (M&A, strategy consulting, audit/transaction services, etc.). Its investment experience spans multiple geographies and sectors, different economic cycles and multiple leveraging approaches (build-ups, LBO, growth, carve-out, business refocus).
In total, Elyan professionals have an average experience of 17 years in the industry and have been part of the Edmond de Rothschild Group for an average of 11 years.
ERES also benefits from the expertise of three Senior Advisors. The team is based in Paris.
JEAN-FRANÇOIS FELIX

Jean-François started his career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co up until 1996. He worked with the DSP investment fund in Philadelphia (USA), then joined Vestar Capital Partners in Paris in 2001, where he assumed several positions before heading this office until 2012. Jean-François participated in numerous transactions at DSP and Vestar. In particular, he led the buyouts in SAB Wabco (2002) and AZ Electronic Materials (2007). He was Member of the Board of SAB Wabco from 2002 to 2004 and of AZ Electronic Materials from 2007 to 2011, after its listing on the London Stock Exchange.
Jean-François Félix is a graduate of HEC Paris and Harvard Business School (MBA). He is also a member of the SFAF (Société Française d’Analyse Financière – French Financial Analysis Society).
JÉRÉMIE MÉLIN

Jérémie has more than 20 years’ experience in Private Equity and M&A within the Edmond de Rothschild Group, during which he participated in c.45 investments in EdR SA, as well as for ERES, ERES II, and ERES III, especially in Financial Services and Business Services.
He co-founded the ERES franchise in 2006.
Jérémie is a graduate of HEC Paris and holds a Masters in Business Law.
LAURE LAMM-COUTARD

Laure started her career as a banker in Mergers and Acquisitions at HSBC in Paris (large cap team) and London (financial sponsors team), then joined Goldman Sachs in London in the Consumer and Retail M&A team. Laure has been a member of the ERES investment team since 2009 and spearheads our efforts in the Consumer & Retail sector.
Laure is a graduate of HEC Paris. She also holds an LLM from the University of Munich and a Masters in Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
MAXENCE DE VIENNE

Maxence worked for 7 year as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and Citigroup in London and in Paris. He then joined the Boston Consulting Group and assisted companies in their due diligences and transformation. After joining the Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2014, Maxence worked as a Director of the Fonds Stratégique de Participations (FSP) (a long term institutional investor) prior to joining ERES in 2017.
Maxence is a graduate of Institut des Sciences Politiques de Paris and of Université Paris Dauphine.
VINCENT MANES

Vincent started his career as a banker in Mergers & Acquisitions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He then joined ADIA (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority) in 2012 in the Private Equity Principal Investments team, where he was involved in deals in various sectors and geographies, including Asia, Latin America and the US. Vincent has been a member of the ERES investment team since July 2016.
Vincent is a graduate of EM Lyon business school with a Master Degree in Science of Management (Major in corporate finance).
GUILLAUME DARBON

Guillaume Darbon started his career at Financière Saint Dominique, the PE arm of Credit National / Natixis. He then worked at LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton) Group as a Business Development Manager for Asia and the Pacific Rim, based in Hong Kong. He joined Advent International in 1998 where he held several positions before being promoted to partner in 2007. During his time at Advent Guillaume was involved on and a board member of numerous investments across the industrial, retail and consumers and technology sectors in various geographies including Hubwoo, BCS, Materis, Dufry, Monext, Stokomani and Mondo Minerals. Since 2016, he advises CEOs of growth companies and buy-outs.
He is an active investor in several businesses and Chairman of the Article 1 Foundation, the leading NGO in the field of equal opportunity and equal access to higher education in France.
Guillaume is a graduate of HEC Paris and of the International Program of UBC Sauder School of Business.
LUIS MARINI-PORTUGAL

Luis started his career at JP Morgan where he worked in investment banking from 1994 to 1999 in New York and London. He then joined Eurazeo in Paris where he assumed several positions before becoming Member of the Executive Board and co-head of the investment team from 2008 to 2013. Luis participated in numerous investments at Eurazeo. In particular, he led Eurazeo's team on the buyouts in B&B Hotels, Elis, Foncia and Rexel. He was Chairman of the Board of B&B Hotels and Elis, Vice-Chairman of Foncia, and Member of the Board of Eutelsat Communications, Rexel, Realviz, Terreal and Vox Mobili. Since 2013, Luis has been Senior Advisor at Citizen Capital, a pioneer in impact investing in France, and an active business angel.
Luis is a graduate of HEC Paris.
SAMUEL PINTO

After founding and leading the Private Banking and Asset Management team for the Southeast Asian markets for Crédit Agricole in Hong Kong, Samuel joined the Edmond de Rothschild Group in 1992 and in 1997, became CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
From 1997 to 2011, he was also Managing Director of EdR SA. Former Member of the Management Board of Edmond de Rothschild (France) and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management from 2002 to 2009, Samuel is a co-founder and member of the Management Boards of the ERES funds. He is a member of the Investment Committee of ERES III and transitioning to a senior advisor role in ERES IV.
Samuel is a graduate of HEC Paris.
GUILLAUME VACHERAND

Guillaume started his career at Boston Consulting Group where he worked on transformation programs and due diligence assignments for multiple companies. He then joined napaqaro (Buffalo Grill, Courtepaille and Popeyes brands), owned by TDR Capital where he is head of strategy and member of the executive committee. He takes part to the acquisitions of the company and is responsible for their integration, as well as the overall group transformation. He joined Elyan in 2022.
Guillaume is a graduate of HEC Paris. He also holds a bachelor in Law from UVSQ.
PAUL PERROUD

Paul started his career as a Banker in Merger and Acquisitions at Rothschild & Co in Paris (large cap team). He then cofounded Protected, an affinity broker in cybersecurity, working notably on operations and finance. He joined Elyan in 2023.
Paul is a graduate from Centrale Lyon. He also holds a bachelor in Economics from University Lyon II.
ALBANE STREICHENBERGER

Albane started her career at Ardian in 2016 as a Financial Controller. In 2020, she joined RedTree Capital, a real estate management company, and set up middle office and other support functions. She joined Elyan in 2023.
Albane is a graduate of Grenoble Ecole de Management.

After an experience in Mergers and Acquisitions at Edmond de Rothschild Corporate Finance, Claire joined Accuracy where she participated in restructuring, litigation and arbitration assignments in the railway, construction and retail sectors. She joined Elyan in 2022.
Claire is a graduate of the University of Warwick (UK) and ESSEC Business School.

After two experiences in Investment and M&A, Davide started his career as a Transaction Services consultant at EY, where he worked on several transactions (M&A, LBO, carve-out) mainly in the Food, Industrial, IT and Services sectors. He joined Elyan in 2022.
Davide is a graduate of the Università di Bologna (Italy) and ESCP Business School.
